Grumpy to Pawthereum

The DAY is finally here! The smart contract has been launched and the swap is open at:

✅ There are 2 different transactions you would need to do. The first one is an approval which is usually cheaper. Until the approval has gone through you wouldn’t be able to do the swap. The frontend has now been updated so it will remember when you have approved the transaction. Please remember to add the token address to your wallet in order to see it.

✅ Swap is the ONLY way how we would have been able to fork from Grumpy to Pawthereum and that is because of the liquidity being locked in Uniswap and we wouldn’t be able to withdraw it any other way.

✅ The gas fees in ethereum network for doing the swap has nothing to do with us and it’s unfortunate that sometimes it’s high but we are glad to see that it’s on a positive trend being the lowest in the past few weeks just in time for the swap. Check out https://www.gasnow.org/ where you can plan the swap for the best times.

✅ There is a 1% transaction fee in Grumpy smart contract which cannot be disabled but we are providing you with 100% of Pawth instead of 99% which you would normally get. 6% of Pawthereum tax hasn’t been yet turned on but it will be at some point of the swap so we don’t recommend waiting too long to make that swap happen. (Turning on the Pawth taxes is an incentive to accelerate the swap of the grumpy liquidity and move forward with the Pawth project.)

✅ Pawthereum cannot be sold or bought until the swap window has closed in 10.10.2021. Since the total supply of Pawth is 1 billion and Grumpy is 100 trillion the ratio of the swap is 100 000 to 1. That means there will be 5 zeroes less in the amount of tokens you will receive. The price of pawthereum is dependent on how much liquidity can be swapped from Grumpy but rest assured that your % of total Pawth supply owned reflects your % of total supply of Grumpy owned.

So if you believe that Pawthereum has potential you can buy Grumpy and swap to PAWTH before it has been officially launched.

All of this being said we are happy to see that over 16 trillion Grumpy or 16% of the total supply has already been swapped to Pawthereum.

• Please only use that link we just posted. This is the only way to swap your grumpy!
• Sharing of any other link will be deleted and the user banned from our community. We will pin the announcement in all of our socials, but if anyone somehow misses it the admin team will provide the link for it
• Please read the instructions on that site and look at the videos on our youtube channel before going through it.
• Swapping anything less than the maximum amount means that you would have to pay the gas fees once again, so if you go through with it we recommend you click the max button under Grumpy logo.

Great news for BigONE and Biconomy holders

We have discussed the situation with anyone holding Grumpy tokens on BigONE and Biconomy exchanges and we are happy to say that there is no need for you to pay the gas fees 3 different times when withdrawing the token, doing the swap, and then depositing the token back to BigONE and Biconomy. Actually, you wouldn’t need to do anything since you will be airdropped Pawthereum to your wallet when it’s listed on their Exchange. This is the deal we came up with after discussing with them and we hope that you will be happy with our decision.
