We’ve got some meow-tastic news to share with you all! Our beloved Pawthereum community has once again stepped up to show its huge heart for our furry friends. This time, we’ve made a heartwarming donation to the wonderful charity, “Feral to Family.”
A Paw-some Donation for a Purr-pose
Thanks to our vibrant DAO’s vote and the generous heart of a community member, VMU, we’ve sponsored not one, but three adorable kitties! While our DAO voted to adopt the irresistibly cute Biscuit, VMU graciously covered the donation for the other two furballs. 🐱💕 Thank you, VMU and your friends at HarryPotterObamaSonic10Inu for your generosity.
Who is Feral to Family?
Feral to Family isn’t just any charity. They’re heroes without capes, dedicated to transforming the lives of feral and abandoned cats. Their mission is to find forever homes for kittens and social adults, and provide care for those in cat colonies. From TNR (Trap-Neuter-Return) programs to providing shelter, food, and medical care, they’re truly cat’s best friends!

The Details of Our Donation
Our donation was a purr-fect $50 per cat. This contribution goes a long way in ensuring these kitties receive top-notch care. Here’s the scoop on what our donation covers:
- Essential medical tests
- A de-worming regimen
- Up-to-date vaccinations and rabies shots
- Spaying/neutering
- Microchipping
- Daily necessities like food, litter, and bedding
- Emergency medical care
And the cherry on top? Our names will be featured on the shelter’s sponsor page and the cats’ online bios! Pawthereum will be notified when these sponsored cats finds their forever homes. 🏡
Urgent Times, Urgent Measures
We made several attempts to contact Feral to Family to onboard them to web3 but have yet to hear back. Rather than wait to aid the kitties, we donated via fiat currency in hopes that this grabs their attention for future onboarding conversations. The equivalent ETH will be sent to a team wallet that initially covered the expenses. This quick action ensures the kitties get the help they need without delay.
And guess what? With this donation, Pawthereum has now contributed an astonishing $479,850.00 US dollars to various causes! We’re not just making a difference; we’re setting a gold standard for crypto communities everywhere.
